Dennis has been a teacher, coach, and administrator in the Brick school system for over 40 years.  During his career, Dennis has served as the Principal of Brick Township High School for 13 years, Director of Operations, and Acting Superintendent.  He coached football for 22 years with his mentor, Warren Wolf.  Mr. Filippone has given back to the community he loves by serving as Chairman of the Brick Municipal Alliance, Relay for Life, DART coalition, and the Governor’s Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.  He has been Honored as the Brick Township and Ocean County Volunteer of The Year, Columbus Day Parade Grand Marshall, PAL Man of the Year, and for his efforts following Super Storm Sandy.  He has been married to his wife, Dr. Christine Fillippone, for 37 years, has two children, Marie and Angela, and one grandchild, Kaia.
