Mr. Kleissler is the Principal at Brick Township High School. He has been employed by the Brick Township Board of Education since 1997. Originally beginning his career as a teacher of History and Special Education, Mr. Kleissler became an administrator at the high school in 2003. Mr. Kleissler coached Baseball and Football beginning in 1995 and officially ending when he became an administrator.

Graduating from BTHS in 1989, Mr. Kleissler earned his Associates Degree from Ocean County College and moved onto Rutgers University where he majored in History and prepared to become a teacher. He earned a Bachelor of History in 1995. After several years in the classroom, Mr. Kleissler pursued a Master’s degree in Leadership and Supervision, which he earned through Georgian Court University.

Mr. Kleissler is an active member in the Brick Township and BTHS community. Having volunteered in the AYF and Brick National sports leagues, Mr. Kleissler has spent years working with players and parents. He is a founding member of the BTHS Alumni Association, Brick United, and the BTHS Wall of Fame.

Mr. Kleissler is the proud husband to Lisa Kleissler-Finelli and they have been married since 1996. Together, Lisa and Bill are blessed with two wonderful children who are active student-athletes. Billy graduated from BTHS in 2019 and is attending Bentley University pursuing a BS in Business and Finance. Jenna is entering her Junior year at BTHS.
